The Property Improvement Programs that address the declining conditions of the existing housing stock in our neighborhoods is of vital importance to the Center City Area of Niagara Falls, New York. The majority of our structures were built prior to 1960 and therefore differ from today's standards and most of the homes have the original components.  In our neighborhoods, many families have restrictive incomes and cannot make the needed improvements to their homes without financial assistance.

Center City has developed successful Grant and Loan Assistance Programs that address this very need.  Through the partnerships with the NYS Affordable Housing Corporation, NYS Division of Housing & Community Renewal and the City of Niagara Falls, Center City has the ability of assisting families with property in the Center City Area of Niagara Falls, New York to affordably bringing their homes up-to-code and address weatherization and beautification.
